CONTENT CREATOR (PART-TIME / SEASONAL)
Excel Roofing – Englewood, CO
Compensation: $20–$25 hourly depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time, seasonal (February through November - busier times), approximately 10–25 hours per week with flexible hours depending on workload and hail season.

As we continue to grow, we are adding a creative, outgoing Content Creator who will help tell the real stories happening every day on roofs, job sites, and within our community.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Guided by the trust-building principles of Endless Customers by Marcus Sheridan, the Content Creator will produce transparent, educational, and human-centered content that helps homeowners understand roofing—covering cost, problems, comparisons, materials, insurance, and contractor selection. This role blends fieldwork, creative production, and digital strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, film, and edit photos and videos that reflect Excel Roofing's brand, values, and commitment to transparency.
- Visit active job sites to document projects, capture before-and-after visuals, and record interviews with project managers, crews, and willing customers.
- Publish consistent, trust-building content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Cover company events, college outreach activities, sponsorships, and team functions to highlight internal culture and community involvement.
- Create content that addresses the five key customer research categories: pricing, problems, comparisons, reviews, and best-in-class options.
- Produce educational content that explains roofing processes, insurance steps, ventilation needs, hail impacts, and material differences in a clear, approachable way.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage that shows real job-site work, craftsmanship, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, project managers, and leadership to ensure message alignment across sales, operations, and seasonal priorities.
FIELD WORK AND SAFETY
- This role includes regular outdoor work and interaction with crews and customers.
- Safety training will be provided; compliance with all Excel Roofing safety protocols is required.
- Rooftop filming and ladder use may be necessary and will be conducted under supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two to three years of experience in content creation, social media management, videography, or photography.
- A portfolio demonstrating storytelling, video editing ability, and confidence capturing real-world subjects.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with a wide variety of people.
- Proficiency with CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or similar editing software; familiarity with Canva or Adobe tools for light graphics.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to thirty pounds of equipment and work flexible hours during the busy season.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience creating short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
- Drone operation or interest in obtaining drone certification.
- Background in event coverage, photography, or graphic design.
