Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
• Prepare drink garnishes and mixes, such as teas, cold brews, espresso, and other mixers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
• Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws.
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours
• Uphold high standards of customer service by actively listening to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly.
• Follow all food safety guidelines related to food handling and beverage preparation to ensure guest safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, wineries, or distilleries
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is desirable; distillery/brewing/winery knowledge is a plus.

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 per week
