Warehouse and Delivery Associate

Caliber Packaging is an industrial packaging and equipment distributor with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse and Delivery Associate.

The Warehouse and Delivery Associate will perform a wide range of warehouse functions and would be responsible for operating the company truck to deliver products, running various designated routes. This position is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.

We would also like to train this person in tool repair. If you have any experience, please let us know.

Overview:

• Perform a wide range of warehouse functions; labeling, replenishing, box making, loading/unloading trailers, moving stowed product to various locations utilizing a Forklift, etc.
• Fulfill and organize orders to ensure customer delivery process is efficient and accurate.
• Create accurate shipping documentation for domestic shipments
• Utilize Power Industrial Vehicles, material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, to receive or transport product to storage and staging locations.
• Operates 26 Ft box truck company vehicle in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
• Picks up and delivers merchandise in accordance with customer order
• Ensures delivery vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
• Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to Warehouse Manager.
• Returns credit merchandise with the appropriate paperwork and informs operations of delivery.
• Provides customer with receipt and/or credit for merchandise to be picked up.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Tool Repair- willing to train the right candidate

Qualifications:

• Clean Driving Record
• Required to take and pass DOT Physical
• Able to work independently, with little supervision
• Computer literate, able to fill out Bill of Ladings, Packing Slips, via websites, Microsoft Word
• Forklift Licensed or willing to acquire license, sit down lift, 5000#, with 5' forks
• Able to lift 75 pounds, multiple times throughout an 8 hour shift
• Ability to perform cycle counts, physical inventory
• Able to work for 8 hours on concrete floor

Pay Based off of Experience.

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
