Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with a background in fine dining or food service environments, is highly preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively hospitality setting where your skills in food handling, guest relations, and sales will be valued and developed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables promptly, and supporting host/host duties as needed
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials
• Uphold hospitality standards by fostering guest relations and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, Clover, or OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods and multitask efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous experience in nightlife venues is a plus

Pay: $ $24.93 per hour
