CNC Mill Programmer Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with experience in operating CNC machines and tools. 5 years of experience with MasterCam and Programming. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The CNC Mill Programmer will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This is a possible lead position.

Day Shift, Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Programming with MasterCam
• Operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to fabricate parts according to engineering specifications.
• Set up tooling and fixtures for various machining operations.
• Use bore gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• 5 years experience with programming and machining.
• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist
• Proficiency in operating milling machines.
• Strong understanding of tooling and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
