We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to our operational success and customer satisfaction. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work quickly, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing, making you an integral part of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations using RF scanners and order lists.
- Verify the correctness of items and quantities picked against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas and aisles.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet established picking speed and accuracy targets.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse roles is a strong asset.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct usage of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
