Key duties include unloading incoming goods, meticulously organizing inventory on shelves, fulfilling customer orders by accurately picking and packing items, and ensuring all outbound shipments are correctly labeled and prepared for transit. The position requires physical stamina, as tasks involve frequent lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended durations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Accurately stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items from shelves based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label and prepare outgoing packages for shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
