This role is fundamental to our inventory management and order fulfillment processes, forming a critical part of our overall logistics network. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are stored accurately and safely, contributing to the smooth flow of operations. A strong focus on safety is paramount, and we provide all necessary PPE , along with comprehensive training and ongoing support. This position involves significant Lifting and maneuvering of heavy loads, requiring precision and control. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a valid certification or extensive experience operating reach trucks. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve palletized inventory.
- Safely transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Maintain accuracy in inventory placement and storage.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in inventory control and cycle counting.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety vest and footwear.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck operator certification or demonstrable proficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety .
