Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Atlanta, Georgia, and play a key role in our e-commerce fulfillment operations. This position is responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for shipment. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, ensuring that our customers receive their products quickly and in perfect condition. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy. We emphasize a safe working environment, providing training on proper procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order slips or system prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, including all necessary shipping information.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or order accuracy immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall logistics flow.
- Understand and follow packing procedures and quality control standards.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items.
- Ensure all PPE is used correctly and consistently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of Logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
