We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your duties will include locating items within the warehouse, scanning products, and ensuring that orders are fulfilled with precision and speed. This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform tasks involving regular Lifting. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and all employees must adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets and maintain inventory integrity. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Experience in logistics or distribution is beneficial.
