This role is hands-on and vital for ensuring that goods are handled, stored, and dispatched correctly. You'll be an integral part of our team, working in a dynamic environment to meet daily operational demands and uphold our high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of all products.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere, assisting colleagues as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Team player mentality.
