As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and then carefully packaging them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce fulfillment operations and requires precision, speed, and a keen attention to detail. Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and speed in our fulfillment center. Key responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory according to pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package products securely and efficiently, ensuring they are ready for shipping.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to supervisors.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as required to support logistics operations.
