Temporary Full-Time Position - ADL West Royalty - Charlottetown, PE

Position Overview: 

As a Driver Helper, you will work alongside a delivery driver to support daily delivery routes. Your role is to assist with loading and unloading products, lifting and carrying items, and helping ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on, physically active position suited for someone comfortable with manual work and early start times.

This is a temporary, full-time position starting as soon as possible. The assignment has no fixed end date and may be extended depending on operational needs; however, permanency is not guaranteed.

Location: ADL West Royalty, Industrial Park, 50 4 St, Charlottetown, PE

Schedule:

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Start Time: 5:00 a.m.
• End Time: End of the delivery route

Wage Rate: $18.54 / hour 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading products, manually or using basic handling equipment
• Lift, carry, and stack products safely during deliveries
• Help organize and secure products to prevent damage during transport
• Support the driver during deliveries by assisting with unloading and product placement
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with customers
• Work in varying temperature environments while following safe handling practices

Requirements:

• Physically able to perform repetitive lifting and manual work
• Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on role
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early start times
• Able to follow safety procedures and handling instructions
• Comfortable working in different temperature environments
• Willing to work as part of a team and take direction from the driver
