Manager, Gas Bar

As the Manager, Gas Bar / C-Store, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operation of the Gas Bar, Convenience Store, and Car Wash in Fort McMurray, AB. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing short-term strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with the organization's strategic plan.
• Ensuring adherence to brand standards, merchandising guidelines, marketing initiatives, image standards, financial controls, safety, and asset protection.
• Leading consistent and profitable operations, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Purchasing and merchandising convenience store products and managing relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Coaching and leading team members by providing day-to-day direction, including scheduling, performance management, training, and development.
• Managing expenses within budget while maintaining revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including Company HR, Health & Safety, and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.

Who You Are

You are seeking a rewarding career in Retail Store Operations and bring the following qualifications:

• 5–7 years of relevant retail experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively manage staff, engage customers, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
