Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional specializing in NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) sales to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, in Ocean, Air, Trucking and Customs House Bookerage, cultivating strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. Your strategic approach and proactive outreach will be essential in establishing long-term partnerships, increasing revenue streams, and elevating our brand reputation globally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our business through innovative sales strategies and market insights.

Responsibilities

  • Bring existing sales leads, develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to target potential clients within the NVOCC sector, including shipping lines, freight forwarders, and large corporate shippers.
  • Identify new markets and customer segments through research, networking, and industry events to expand our NVOCC service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through regular engagement and tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, service terms, and contractual agreements to secure profitable deals while aligning with company policies.
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Hubspot, Cargowise and Zoominfo to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, and project management teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and successful delivery of services.

Experience

  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry, specifically with NVOCC services.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software platforms like Hubspot, Cargowise and Zoominfo or similar tools for managing client relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, sales negotiations, and project management to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex logistics solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to B2B logistics services is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative approaches for expanding business opportunities.

Pay: $60, $90,000.00 per year + Commission (No sunsetting commission)
