What client is looking for::

"An experienced, on-site network engineer/administrator (7+ years) with CCNA/CCNP certifications, strong hands-on skills in Cisco/Fortinet/Juniper devices, LAN/WAN/VPN/security expertise, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), and experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environments."

Position Overview::::

The Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing the company's network infrastructure. This includes LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, security systems, cloud networking, and monitoring. This position is on-site and requires hands-on technical expertise in enterprise networking and system security.

Preferred Qualifications::::

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network Plus, CompTIA Security Plus, Fortinet NSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or AWS networking certifications.

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial IT environments.

Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible or Terraform.

Knowledge of VoIP systems, wireless controllers, and SD-WAN solutions.

Required Qualifications:::

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

7 years of experience in network administration or network engineering.

Exp with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, and network segmentation.

Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper network devices.

Experience configuring firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, IDS, and IPS systems.

Working knowledge of SIEM tools and security log analysis.

Experience with Azure or AWS networking including VPCs, VPN gateways, and hybrid network integration.

Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.

Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark.

Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX
