Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential in supporting our restaurant, banquet, or hotel operations, contributing to a seamless food service experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist in food preparation by cleaning vegetables and other ingredients as needed.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the culinary team during peak hours by providing clean dishes promptly.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terms is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and food handling practices is beneficial.
