Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team. The SLPA will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy and intervention services to students within school settings. This role focuses on helping children improve their speech, language, and communication skills to support classroom learning and overall confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy sessions under the direction of the supervising SLP
• Collect and record accurate data for progress monitoring and IEP documentation
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and the supervising SLP
• Support both in-person and teletherapy sessions as assigned
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
