Wellness Assistant - Part Time
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 9am to 1pm
Tuesday, Thursday - 12pm to 6pm

Duties and Responsibilities
Assists Wellness Director with setting up and promoting special events on campus including Wellness Fair, Fall Prevention Week, Senior Olympics, Triathlon, etc.
Provides and schedules ongoing fitness assessments and personal training sessions
Teaches and/or substitutes exercise classes for seniors and employees including Aqua Strength, Dance Fitness, Circuit Training, Boxing, Weights and Bands, Balance, Yoga, etc.
Keeps accurate client records and tracks class attendance through electronic portal
Maintains pool and fitness areas
Other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
Required Skills/Abilities
Ability to work comfortably with older adults
Understanding and accommodating the needs associated with the aging population
Intermediate computer skills with ability to learn new technology
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain
Nationally recognized personal training and/or group exercise certifications, i.e. ACSM, NASM, ACE
At least one year working with the senior population
