About Us: We are a property management company dedicated to providing high-quality living spaces for our residents. Currently, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a focus on renovation turns to join our team and contribute to the upkeep 5 properties in the Greenville/Pickens Area in South Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  1. General Maintenance:

  2. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and electrical repairs.

  3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
  4. Work with management to identify, select, acquire, and organize required maintenance equipment and materials
  5. Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the property.
  6. Work with lead maintenance technician and property manager to repair and turn units as necessary.

  7. Documentation:

  8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

  9. Use provided software to track work orders and time.
  10. Provide detailed reports on completed tasks and work in progress.

  11. Communication:

  12. Collaborate effectively with the property management team and communicate with residents in a professional and customer-oriented manner.

Qualifications:

  1. Plumbing Expertise:

  2. Ability to assess and fix general plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, etc.

  3. Experience with cast-iron plumbing is a plus.

  4. General Maintenance Skills:

  5. Proficiency in carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work.

  6. Strong troubleshooting skills for a variety of maintenance issues.

  7. Customer Service:

  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  9. Ability to interact positively with residents and address their concerns.

  10. Reliability:

  11. Punctual and dependable, with the ability to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.

  12. Team Player:

  13. Willingness to collaborate with other maintenance team members and property management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in maintenance.
