About Us: We are a property management company dedicated to providing high-quality living spaces for our residents. Currently, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a focus on renovation turns to join our team and contribute to the upkeep 5 properties in the Greenville/Pickens Area in South Carolina.
Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
- Work with management to identify, select, acquire, and organize required maintenance equipment and materials
- Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the property.
Work with lead maintenance technician and property manager to repair and turn units as necessary.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Use provided software to track work orders and time.
Provide detailed reports on completed tasks and work in progress.
Communication:
Collaborate effectively with the property management team and communicate with residents in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
Qualifications:
Plumbing Expertise:
Ability to assess and fix general plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, etc.
Experience with cast-iron plumbing is a plus.
General Maintenance Skills:
Proficiency in carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work.
Strong troubleshooting skills for a variety of maintenance issues.
Customer Service:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact positively with residents and address their concerns.
Reliability:
Punctual and dependable, with the ability to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
Team Player:
Willingness to collaborate with other maintenance team members and property management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in maintenance.
