Job Overview
The Quality Control Supervisor provides daily oversight, direction, and technical support to the Quality
Control team to ensure product safety, regulatory compliance, and consistency across all beverage
production operations. This position acts as a bridge between operations and the Quality Department,
ensuring that testing, documentation, and GMP standards are executed with accuracy and timeliness.
The Quality Control Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for on-shift quality decisions,
mentor technicians, support root cause analysis, and ensure all food safety and quality programs are
properly implemented and sustained.

Work Schedule: On-site work required
Four 10-hour day shifts per week:
Sunday-Wednesday 8AM-6PM
Wednesday-Saturday 8AM-6PM
Pay Range - $29-$31/hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Oversight & Leadership
• Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of Quality Control Technicians.
• Ensure timely completion of all analytical, sensory, and process checks.
• Review QC documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and SQF
standards.
• Provide on-the-floor guidance to address nonconformance or process deviations.
• Communicate product quality or safety concerns to production management and escalate
significant issues to the Quality Director.
Technical & Process Management
• Verify that in-process and finished product testing meet customer and specification
requirements.
• Operate and monitor analytical equipment and trends (pH Meter, Seam Scanner, PU Meter, c DGM, c-TPOS, Density Meter, qPCR, HPLC, etc.) and communicate deviations to stakeholders.
• Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) development following quality incidents.
• Ensure adherence to all GMP, food safety, and environmental requirements.
• Assist in the validation of new equipment, formulas, or packaging configurations.
Team Training and Communication
• Train, coach, and evaluate QC Technicians on proper testing, documentation, and escalation
procedures.
• Reinforce quality culture and accountability throughout production and packaging teams.
• Support ongoing calibration, audit readiness, and process improvement projects.
• Participate in internal audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections as required.
Documentation & Compliance
• Review daily metrics and KPIs and present daily results to the Senior Leadership team.
• Ensure that QC records, logs, and test data are properly maintained in SAP, databases, and
physical archives.
• Conduct daily quality review meetings to communicate results, trends, and action items.
• Support documentation control and assist with updates to SOPs and work instructions.
• Verify that lab and production areas always maintain audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• 2+ years in quality, food safety, or laboratory roles within beverage or food manufacturing.
• Experience leading or training quality or production personnel preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
Skills & Traits
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of quality control testing, beverage processing, and GMP practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced production environments and able to make quick, informed
decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production/quality software (e.g., SAP, SharePoint, data
tracking tools).
Physical Demands
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 165 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to stand, crouch, or move throughout production and lab areas.
• Work at height or in confined spaces when required.
• Wear appropriate PPE per task.
Additional Requirements:
• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work full shift on-site in Cincinnati, OH
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate or willingness to train on:
• Manual/electric pallet jacks
• Power lifters
• Fork truck and scissor lift (on-site certification provided)
