About
The College of Nursing Acute and Tertiary Care at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Assistant Professor. The UT Health Science Center embraces four missions: education, research, clinical care, and institutional service.
Teaching responsibilities include both didactic course work and (online and classroom, as appropriate) clinical supervision of students. Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired. Responsibilities for this role include clinical practice assignment, in addition to educational responsibilities. Research/scholarship activities, as well as service responsibilities, will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.
EDUCATION: Doctoral Degree from an accredited university program.
EXPERIENCE: Teaching experience in a BSN program preferred. Recent experience in acute care nurse practitioner is preferred.
LICENSES: Licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee required. National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
