We are seeking experienced ServiceNow CMDB Developers and ServiceNow ITSM Developers with strong hands-on experience in Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB modeling, and ITSM workflow development. Candidates must hold active ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer) and CSA (Certified System Administrator) certifications. The ideal professionals will support ongoing ServiceNow platform enhancements, CMDB governance, ITOM initiatives, and ITSM process automation.

For CMDB

  • Design, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow CMDB including class models, CI relationships, identifiers, and reconciliation rules.
  • Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping patterns.
  • Configure MID Servers, credentials, and integrations with on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop CMDB data quality dashboards (completeness, correctness, compliance).
  • Align CMDB with CSDM framework and ensure model compliance across services.
  • Troubleshoot Discovery and Service Mapping issues and fine-tune patterns.
  • Integrate CMDB with 3rd-party tools (monitoring, asset, cloud, network).
  • Define and enforce CMDB governance, data policies, lifecycle rules, and CI update workflows.

For ITSM

  • Develop, configure, and customize ITSM applications (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Catalog).
  • Create automation workflows, business rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
  • Implement custom applications leveraging ServiceNow Application Studio (CAD-aligned).
  • Manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Orchestration.
  • Configure and optimize Service Catalog items, fulfillment flows, and approvals.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and feature enhancements.
  • Work with ITIL process owners to streamline and automate ITSM processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Mandatory active certifications:

  • ServiceNow CAD – Certified Application Developer

  • ServiceNow CSA – Certified System Administrator (CSD if you meant Certified System Developer)

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development (CMDB or ITSM depending on role).

  • Strong experience in Service Mapping, Discovery, and ITOM components.
  • Solid understanding of CSDM, ITIL practices, and CMDB architecture.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and scripting for ServiceNow.
  • Experience working with cloud and enterprise infrastructure for mapping/discovery.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
