General Superintendent

The General Superintendent will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of complex high-rise commercial projects, valued up to $200million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day construction site operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, foremen, and field personnel.
• Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor project costs and budgets to prevent overruns.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve construction issues as they arise.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality control standards.
• Train and mentor field staff to improve performance and efficiency.
• Manage equipment and materials to optimize resources and reduce waste.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Extensive experience in construction management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction scheduling software and project management tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Experience in managing large-scale projects (upwards of $100million) across various sectors (commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, etc.).
