About the Role

We're seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. In this role, you'll ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that creates a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. You'll interact directly with residents, families, and coworkers, helping to foster a welcoming and positive community.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents' dining preferences and dietary needs are met
  • Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
  • Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards
  • Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment
  • Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food service preferred
  • Current ServSafe Certification required
  • Ability to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as required
  • Must be 18 years or older, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks
  • First Aid certification required
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure
