Duties

• Take orders from guests accurately using POS systems
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining quality standards
• Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations
• Handle cash transactions efficiently through POS systems and perform cashiering duties with precision using retail math skills
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Set up and break down bar areas for service shifts, including restocking supplies and organizing tools for efficiency
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet or catering events to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Proven restaurant or food service experience
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively setting while maintaining professionalism
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using strong time management skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering events is a plus
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Familiarity with the food industry's standards for alcohol service, brewing processes, and food industry best practices is advantageous

Pay: $ $26.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
