A fast-growing professional services company in Chicago is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary of $90,000–$110,000 and is perfect for a proactive, people-centered leader eager to take ownership of daily operations, enhance financial and operational performance, maintain compliance, and collaborate with leadership to drive impactful initiatives across the Chicago market. The position also includes a strong benefits package featuring health insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

  • Lead and empower office staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Partner with leadership on key operational priorities while supporting staffing and team development.
  • Elevate workflows, streamline processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Oversee office logistics, vendor relationships, and general administrative needs.
  • Manage budgeting, expenses, and routine financial oversight for the local office.
  • Support documentation, billing activities, and revenue-related processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable industry requirements.
  • Assist with office events, projects, and business continuity activities.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide valuable insights to leadership.

Qualifications of the Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in operations management; exposure to real estate or professional services industries is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for building long-term operational improvements.
  • Brings experience overseeing finances while managing teams and coordinating work across multiple areas.
  • Effective in conflict resolution and adept at communicating with executives and key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and workflow tools.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, including recruiting, performance management, and compliance.
