DIESEL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC

Immediately hiring Permanent a Full Time Diesel Technicians to support our Truck Fleet at Liberty Waste Solutions :

• A-Tech 1st Shift $ $38.00r
• B-Tech 2nd Shift $ $30.00r

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Maintains a working knowledge of the following vehicle and equipment components and systems, with the ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance functions:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service.
• Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
• Basic tools, required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Advanced analytical and repair skills
• Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc
• Must have a valid driver's license, be reliable and punctual.
• Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others

Pay Rate: Depending on experience
