Floating Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floating Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. Responsibilities

• Support multiple classrooms by stepping into various teaching roles as needed, ensuring continuity of instruction and student engagement.
• Assist in developing and implementing engaging curriculum plans tailored to different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students.
• Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, applying effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to adapt lesson plans for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention strategies.
• Foster literacy education through storytelling, phonics activities, and reading exercises that promote early childhood development.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to childcare regulations and standards for child welfare.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood coursework preferred)
• Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including early intervention and special education strategies.
• Proven classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy or math education programs.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with families confidently.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups while maintaining high standards of care and instruction.
