Farm supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Supervisor to oversee daily farm operations, ensuring efficient and sustainable agricultural practices. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily farm activities, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and maintenance
• Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment and farm machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment using power tools and hand tools
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across fields
• Monitor crop health and implement horticultural best practices for pest control, fertilization, and soil management
• Train and supervise farm staff in proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and farming techniques
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, inputs, and outputs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

• Proven experience in farm management or agricultural supervision
• Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, and maintenance procedures
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, horticulture principles, and crop management techniques
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks is preferred

Pay: $21.94 per hour
