Education:

• Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
• Advanced Wound Care Certificate is an asset

License:

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

Experience:

• Three years fulltime experience as a Registered Nurse

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Pharmacotherapeutic intervention skills within RN (NP) scope
• Diagnostic intervention skills within RN (NP) scope
• Therapeutic intervention skills relevant to RN (NP) practice
• Health assessment skills within RN (NP) scope
• Knowledge of applicable best practices and principles
• Knowledge of health promotion for wound healing and wound healing techniques
• Competent critical thinking, judgement, and autonomous decision-making capabilities
• Ability to apply research to nursing practice
• Demonstrated responsible decision-making through application of critical thinking
• Communication skills to provide and obtain verbal and written opinions/advice
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to accept and implement change
