We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is essential to our daily logistics operations, focusing on accurately fulfilling customer orders. You will be responsible for locating items, ensuring correct quantities, and preparing them for shipment. This fast-paced environment demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order specifications.
- Operate handheld scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including receiving and stocking.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Understand and follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, often up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
