You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments against documentation.
- Sort and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick items based on order tickets or system instructions.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring protection against damage.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all warehouse Safety standards.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as directed.
- Load outbound trucks in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow all company guidelines for Logistics and material flow.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other common warehouse equipment.
- Forklift certification is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to Safety in all aspects of the job.
