We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is integral to our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within our distribution center. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including picking orders, packing products, receiving inventory, and stocking shelves. Your attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. You will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and follow all established safety procedures to maintain a secure workplace. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves regular lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained/certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear all required PPE.
- Contribute to achieving daily production and quality goals.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capacity to perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, bending, and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
