About
Join our dynamic pediatric speech therapy team as a part-time or PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication and swallowing abilities for our pediatric patients. In this position, you will deliver expert speech therapy services, assess patient needs, and develop personalized treatment plans that foster meaningful progress. Your dedication will directly impact individuals’ quality of life, empowering them to communicate confidently and effectively.
NOTE: We are hiring both a part-time and PRN SLP paid on a payment per visit model, with an anticipated payment range of $38 to $40 per unit/session. Sessions typically last 30 minutes. Please use this a guide regarding anticipated payment, rather than an hourly pay range, when considering applying for this position.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
* Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that align with each patient’s unique needs and goals.
* Provide engaging speech therapy interventions for pediatric populations, including early intervention programs.
* See clients in both office setting and via virtual teletherapy platform.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic patient support.
* Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to maximize outcomes.
* Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Educate patients and their families on techniques and exercises to support ongoing communication development at home.
*Skills*
* Proven experience working with pediatric populations.
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to communication disorders.
* Skilled in conducting patient assessments and interpreting diagnostic results accurately.
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with other providers to deliver comprehensive care.
* Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology and ongoing professional development.
