About
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving our cloud‑native platform. You will work closely with software engineers, platform teams, and security to enable reliable, scalable, and secure delivery of applications using modern DevOps and GitOps practices. Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and operate scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS. Work with core AWS services such as EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, and Load Balancers. Ensure high availability, resilience, and cost efficiency across environments. Build, manage, and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS). Support containerized workloads, including scaling, upgrades, and cluster lifecycle management. Troubleshoot cluster and application‑level issues to maintain platform reliability. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Maintain clean, modular, and reusable Terraform code. Manage state, workspaces, and environment separation following best practices. Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Argo CD. Manage Kubernetes deployments declaratively via Git as the single source of truth. Improve deployment consistency, auditability, and rollback strategies. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery. Integrate pipelines with GitOps workflows for automated and controlled releases. Enable automated testing, security checks, and deployment promotion strategies. Implement monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and applications. Use metrics and logs to identify issues, improve performance, and reduce MTTR. Participate in incident response and post‑incident reviews. Security & Best Practices Apply security best practices across cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. Manage IAM, secrets, and access controls securely. Collaborate with security teams to meet compliance and governance requirements. Work closely with development teams to enable self‑service and platform adoption. Document platform architecture, GitOps workflows, and operational procedures. Advocate for DevOps and GitOps best practices across the organization. Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role. Strong hands‑on experience with
AWS
in production environments. Solid understanding of
Kubernetes
and containerized workloads. Hands‑on experience with
Terraform
and infrastructure as code. Practical experience implementing
GitOps , ideally with
Argo CD . Experience building and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.). Experience working with Git and modern branching workflows. Nice to have
Experience operating EKS at scale. Familiarity with Helm and Kubernetes packaging strategies. Experience with multi‑account or multi‑cluster AWS setups. Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.). Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (AWS, CKA, CKAD, etc.). Seniority level
