Low Carbon Energy Infrastructure
A fast-growing UK low carbon energy company is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of district heating and energy infrastructure projects across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career mechanical engineer to gain exposure to projects from feasibility through construction and into operation, working on real-world low carbon heat networks and energy centres.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting the design of hydronic systems and heat networks
Hydraulic & thermal modelling
Assisting with energy centre and plant room design
Producing drawings, calculations and specifications
Working closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Supporting site activities during construction
What we're looking for:
Degree in Mechanical Building Services or Energy Engineering
1-3 years' relevant design experience
AutoCAD & Revit experience
Knowledge of UK regulations (CP1 / TS1 desirable)
Proactive, curious and collaborative mindset
