When joining Splitsville Bowl as a
Kitchen Manager
, you will receive a thorough induction to set you up for success and ensure you are fully trained in our kitchen operations and how the restaurant integrates within the wider Splitsville Bowl centre. You will also be trained in all areas of the busy centre, including the lanes, the bar and the amusements area.
Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will be at the heart of the food experience, leading the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food while supporting the overall guest journey within the centre.
This is a varied and hands-on role, with responsibilities ranging from coaching and mentoring the kitchen team, managing food preparation and service, maintaining stock control and food safety compliance, and collaborating closely with the Centre Manager and front-of-house leaders to deliver centre goals and financial targets.
You will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen operates to the highest industry standards, guaranteeing exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and safety, and helping to create a fun, efficient, and welcoming dining experience for all guests.
The Who…
The be a successful Kitchen Manager, you'll have:
- Experience in a kitchen leadership role, ideally within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
- Proven management experience with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop large kitchen teams
- Strong passion for food quality, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence
- Demonstrated experience organizing, assigning, and overseeing shift tasks to ensure smooth service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house and senior management
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
- Positive, energetic, and professional leadership style with a strong desire to drive success
