Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our accounting practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi location restaurant bookkeeping, helping to prepare financial reports. This role requires strong proficiency in Quickbooks Online, and a comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.

Duties

  • Manage daily bookkeeping work for group of companies
  • Full cycle accounting including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Review and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts
  • Prepare intercompany transactions
  • Execute month-end general ledger close ensuring timelines are met
  • ⁠Review and file of GST/HST filings
  • Support with the year-end audit process and provide related document requests
  • Who we're looking for

Requirements

  • 3-4 Years progressive bookkeeping experience
  • Accounting degree or diploma
  • Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks Online is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of account analysis, budgeting practices, payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • ⁠Understanding and knowledge of accounting principals, practices and standards
  • ⁠Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Dext, SaasTransant, Google workplace is a benefit
