Housing Assistant Coordinator- Evenings and Weekends (Permanent, Full-time)

Desired Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in social work, social justice, indigenous studies, health related and/or a combination of pertinent experiences in these areas. Experiences with cultural activities and understanding of indigenous concepts of care and support. Knowledge of disabilities, disorders and mental health issues. Driver's License and access to transportation. Applicants must have MPI 2 million liability insurance.
Job Responsibilities:
· Support the Housing Resource Team in meeting participant housing needs.
· Ensure participant support plan needs are followed and met.
· Assist with Incident Reports and daily problem-solving.
· Monitor and support staff with participant-related concerns.
· Help coordinate evening programming and complete transportation requests.
· Wrap up daily tasks and ensure smooth evening operations.
· Maintain communication between houses and ensure consistent information sharing.
· Complete accurate and timely documentation.
· Administer medications and provide support to staff regarding medication protocols.
· Support orientation and training for Community Residence staff.
· Maintain residential licensing records and assist with inspection preparation.
· Ensure home maintenance meets licensing requirements.
· Maintain confidential participant and licensing records.
· Build and maintain professional relationships with participants and advocate for their housing needs.
· Demonstrate knowledge of Indigenous social and economic issues related to colonization.
· Use Microsoft Office and follow office procedures effectively.
· Work collaboratively and flexibly as part of the team; perform other duties as required.
· Must have a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and be on-site during shifts; phone support to other homes as needed. (driving to multiple home locations)
· Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.

Wednesday to Sunday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Additional Requirements: Criminal Record Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check. Driver's Licence and access to transportation.

Hourly Wage: $24.66-$28.88
