Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile team member to join our team. This role involves managing various logistics tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering excellent customer service to our clients, who are hotels.
It will include early morning deliveries with shifts from 4:00 am to 9:00 am, Monday to Thursday, along with occasional trips to Niagara.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic to support our company's operational needs. This position offers opportunities for growth and skill development within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of products, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks to load and unload shipments efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of items.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries or pickups, addressing client inquiries professionally.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily operations and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Ensure the van remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in moving and organizing stock.
- Experience in commercial driving or operating large vehicles is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle moving tasks and long periods of standing or walking.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required for commercial driving duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.80-$18.20 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
