What it's like to be a Northbridge Executive Assistant

As the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Commercial Underwriting for Western Canada, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient and strategic operation of the regional underwriting portfolio. You'll provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the VP and broader underwriting leadership team — managing complex calendars, coordinating travel and regional engagements, preparing briefing materials, reports, and presentations, and handling confidential communications with professionalism and discretion.

You'll also support departmental operations, including budget tracking, event coordination, and special projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to senior leadership.

  • Building strong relationships across teams and departments

  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment

  • Being a team player who brings positivity and professionalism to every task

And you have:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Power BI

  • Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills

  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail

  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, and travel logistics
