Job Duties:

Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures as required

Transfer equipment, appliances, construction materials as needed

Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties

Take garbage from resort to landfill daily

Maintain lawns, trees, bushes and grass along roadsides

Maintain highway and resort signs to keep looking new so guests can navigate easily

Operate and maintain power mowers, excavator, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws and other landscape maintenance equipment

Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Able to work long hours in all weather conditions

Must be able to lift 80 pounds repeatedly over short periods of time

Be able to work independently and part of a team

Experience working with and maintaining equipment is an asset

Previous experience working with lawn care is an asset

Not afraid of animals

Able to travel by boat with out getting sick

Punctual and attention to detail

Good customer service when dealing with guests questions
