Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer (Unarmed) to uphold safety and security in a condominium building. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring activities, managing access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your energetic presence and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and respond swiftly to emergencies. Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the facility and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards, enforce safety protocols, and deter theft or vandalism.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or misconduct and documenting incidents accurately.
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, offering immediate assistance until professional help arrives.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incident reports, visitor logs, and security checks to ensure accountability and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is preferred; military background is a plus.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and conflict management techniques.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or emergency response are highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with staff and visitors.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while enforcing safety protocols.
