About

The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing education programs that support both internal employees, external stakeholders, and partners. This highly cross-functional role oversees curriculum development, course delivery, and the administration of a digital learning platform. The position also leads a small team of L&D professionals and collaborates closely with business unit leaders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Curriculum & Course Development

  • Design and maintain a tiered, business-aligned curriculum across technical, functional, and leadership topics for internal and external audiences.
  • Create engaging, compliant learning content in multiple formats (e-learning, instructor-led, blended) that reflects industry best practices.

Content Delivery & Learning Events

  • Plan and deliver digital and in-person training events, managing logistics for workshops, webinars, and certification programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Digital Learning Platform Management

  • Oversee and optimize the LMS, ensuring accurate course cataloging, user access, and robust reporting.
  • Drive adoption of digital learning tools and enhance the learner experience through innovative features and improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Service teams to integrate learning initiatives into broader business strategies. 
  • Act as a liaison between subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a small team of L&D specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and outcome focus. 
  • Allocate resources effectively and set clear performance goals for the team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in education or learning & development
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects & events

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Master's degree
  • Direct classroom and instructional experience 
  • Experience managing LMS platforms and digital learning technologies
