Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced proactive and skilled Apartment Complex Maintenance Technician to join our team In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our residential community. Your expertise will ensure that residents enjoy a comfortable living environment by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upgrades. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, Sheetrock, Make ready, and facilities maintenance skills while providing exceptional customer service to our residents. Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections & repairs, repairs on appliances, HVAC a plus, extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, entry & interior door & frame installation, window balancer repairs, troubleshooting leaks, painting, sheetrock, flooring, janitorial, and grounds trash clean up daily, etc.
  • Repair or replace damaged fixtures, plumbing, electrical, appliances, doors & wood frames, window balancers repairs, flooring, painting, & make ready skills as needed to uphold community standards. Candidate must have own tools & vehicle/truck
  • Manage facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and electrical troubleshooting, etc., with precision.
  • Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during larger projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Respond promptly to resident repair requests & emergency on calls with excellent customer service skills to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring all tools and equipment are used correctly.

Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within residential or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience.
  • Prior leadership experience managing maintenance teams or projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and resident interactions.
  • Knowledge of residential painting techniques and general building repairs will set candidates apart. Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
