Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team, committed to enhancing communication and swallowing abilities in diverse populations. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as physicians, educators, and caregivers to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Utilize your understanding of physiology and anatomy to explain conditions and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, therapy sessions, and assessments in compliance with healthcare standards
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, strategies, and techniques to support ongoing communication development at home or school
  • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices by participating in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Prior school experience or work within educational settings is highly preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and early intervention programs is a strong advantage
  • Solid knowledge of speech therapy techniques for a variety of communication disorders
  • Familiarity with patient assessment tools and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology
  • Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration
