Technical Product Manager – Platform & Workflows
Position Overview
Sigma360 is seeking a Technical Product Manager to help design, build, and evolve core product workflows across our enterprise risk and screening platform. This is a hands-on product role focused on translating real business problems into scalable software solutions, working closely with engineering, data, design, and customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate brings strong product management fundamentals, comfort working with complex enterprise products, and experience operating in Agile development environments.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Problem Solving: Partner with stakeholders across Application Development, Customer Success, and Data Engineering to understand user needs and business problems, and translate them into clear product solutions.
Requirements & Execution: Break down complex problems into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements that engineering teams can efficiently implement.
Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives; help maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis (SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or similar tools) to evaluate product performance, validate assumptions, and inform prioritization and trade-offs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and customer success teams to ensure solutions are feasible, usable, and aligned with customer needs.
Workflow & UX Input: Contribute to the design of intuitive workflows and user experiences by providing clear product direction and collaborating with UX/design partners.
Customer & Internal Feedback: Support customer escalations and feedback loops, helping identify root causes and translating insights into product improvements.
Roadmap Contribution: Own and deliver roadmap initiatives end-to-end, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to product leadership.
Qualifications
Product Management Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Product Manager (or similar role) working on software products, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments.
Agile Experience: Hands-on experience working within Agile or Scrum teams and delivering software iteratively.
Analytical Skills: Strong comfort working with data; experience using SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or a combination thereof to analyze datasets and support product decisions.
Technical Fluency: Ability to engage with engineers on technical concepts, constraints, and trade-offs, even if not writing production code.
Business-to-Software Translation: Proven ability to convert ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable software requirements.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: Familiarity with data science concepts, statistical analysis, or modeling is a plus but not required.
Experience
Required: 2–5 years of product management experience delivering software in a cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have: Experience working with data-heavy products, analytics platforms, or workflow-driven enterprise software. Experience with financial crime compliance or financial services products beneficial, but not required.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in our NYC office or remote within the United States or Europe, with a preference for East Coast time-zone alignment.
What We Offer
Competitive base salary (for NYC-based applicants): $100,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience
