Server/Dietary Aid

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing quality food service to residents in our assisted living facility. This position is essential for ensuring that meals are prepared, served, and presented in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
- Buss tables and ensure dining areas are clean and well-organized.
- Help with food production tasks, including portioning and plating meals.
- Maintain proper food handling practices to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Support the dietary team in maintaining inventory levels of food supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to accommodate residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Participate in training sessions related to dietetics, food safety, and culinary skills as needed.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A passion for providing excellent service to residents while promoting their health and well-being.
- Must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods during shifts.
