About

About 2MRW

2MRW is a visual production company working at the intersection of generative media and filmmaking. We produce high-leverage visual assets for brands, agencies, and entertainment partners, blending AI workflows with traditional production techniques.

We are expanding our creative team for several large-scale projects across Hollywood, global brands, and digital campaigns.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Creative Technologist to support production on a per-project basis. This role combines concept development, model-driven image and video generation, and technical problem solving. Ideal for someone who thrives in fast environments, is obsessive about visual quality, and can bridge creativity with structured workflow.

Strong potential for long-term partnership as we scale. Equity may be considered for standout collaborators.

How We Think About the Work

We care deeply about patience, taste, and attention to detail. This isn't about volume or speed for its own sake. It's about building visuals that feel considered, cohesive, and emotionally intentional, using AI as a tool, not a shortcut.

We're looking for artists who treat each project with the same care they would want applied to their own work.

What You'll Work On

  • Developing and maintaining style, character, and visual continuity across sequences, environments, and products
  • Refining images through cleanup, enhancement, relighting, and continuity passes to reach production-level quality
  • Supporting visual development for treatments, storyboards, and early concept exploration
  • Designing scene-to-scene progression and shot logic for branded and narrative-based content
  • Crafting and refining prompts, tuning models, and iterating deliberately toward a clear creative goal
  • Preparing assets for editorial through upscaling, detail restoration, and clean delivery
  • Contributing to motion or animation workflows if you have experience (not required, but a plus)

Day-to-Day

  • Translate creative direction into intentional, production-ready visuals, not throwaway generations
  • Build controlled variations using multiple tools and models while preserving consistency
  • Maintain style accuracy and continuity across full sequences, not just single images
  • Deliver clean, organized files that integrate smoothly into post-production
  • Identify workflow issues early and suggest thoughtful improvements
  • Communicate clearly about progress, challenges, and revisions, without ego or noise

Tools You Should Know (or be ready to learn)

  • ComfyUI (strongly preferred)
  • Weavy workflows and node-based pipelines (strongly preferred)
  • Image and video generative AI tools (strongly preferred)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (strongly preferred)
  • RunPod or other GPU environments
  • Familiarity with LoRAs, ControlNet, custom models, etc. is a plus
  • Experience with industry-standard VFX and 3D tools such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, Unreal Engine, and Nuke is plus

You do not need all of these. Strength in several is preferred.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong visual taste and a high bar for detail and finish
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks without losing focus or quality
  • A high level of independence and ownership over your work
  • Consistent, thoughtful execution under real production timelines
  • Genuine curiosity and excitement around experimentation and new tools
  • Clear, reliable communication and comfort with feedback loops
  • Interest in contributing to a growing, startup-style production environment
  • Portfolio that demonstrates intentional, well-crafted visual work

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in film or related industry
  • At least 1 year working with generative AI tools or comparable creative pipelines
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality visual work, including but not limited to AI-assisted content, traditional film workflows, animation, and editorial work
  • Strong understanding of visual language, lighting, and composition
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to learn new tools
  • Must be legally eligible to work as an independent contractor in your location

Engagement Structure

  • Project-based opportunities, you decide whether or not to accept
  • Time commitments range from 1 day on small projects, to many weeks or months for larger projects
  • Fully remote, global flexibility

Compensation

This role is project-based. We tailor compensation to the complexity of work, your experience level, timeline, and other factors. Smaller tasks may span a few days, while larger commercial projects can run multiple weeks. As a general reference, most projects fall somewhere between a few hundred dollars on the low-end and several thousand dollars on the high-end. Larger productions may exceed this range.

Exceptional collaborators may also be considered for recurring work and long-term / full-time opportunities, including equity participation as we scale.

Please send your resume and portfolio to for better visibility.
